     Moritz von Hanau, 1st Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 4 May 1834 at Wilhelmshohe CastleG.2 He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.1 He married Anne von Lossberg on 15 April 1875 at Freiberg, Sachsen, GermanyG.2 He died on 30 March 1889 at age 54 at Hannover, Niedersachsen, GermanyG.2
     He gained the title of 1st Prinz Moritz von Hanau und Horowitz.1 He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.1

     Friedrich Wilhelm Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 18 November 1832 at Schloss WilhelmshoheG.2 He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.1 He married, firstly, Auguste Birnbaum, daughter of Karl Birnbaum and Maria Sargany, on 23 September 1856 at St. James's, London, EnglandG.2 He and Auguste Birnbaum were divorced before 1875.2 He married, secondly, Ludowika Gloede, daughter of Reverend Friedrich Gloede and Maria Dorothea Goldbeck, on 8 April 1875 at Vienna, AustriaG.2 He died on 14 May 1889 at age 56 at Horovice, Poland.2
     He gained the title of Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz.1 He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.1

     Wilhelm von Hanau, 2nd Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 19 December 1836.2 He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.1 He married, firstly, Elisabeth Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe, daughter of Georg I Wilhelm Prinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe and Ida Caroline Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 30 January 1866 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, GermanyG.2 He and Elisabeth Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe were divorced in 1868. He married, secondly, Elisabeth Gräfin zur Lippe-Weissenfeld, daughter of Franz Graf zur Lippe-Weissenfeld and Marie von Beschwitz , Baroness von Beschwitz, on 12 May 1890 at Doberitz, GermanyG.2 He died on 3 June 1902 at age 65 at Horovice, Poland.2
     He gained the title of 2nd Prinz Wilhelm von Hanau und Horowitz.1 He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.1
