     Richard Boyle, 4th Earl of Cork was born on 25 April 1694.¹ He was the son of Charles Boyle, 3rd Earl of Cork and Juliana Noel.¹ He was baptised on 3 May 1694 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He married Lady Dorothy Savile, daughter of William Saville, 2nd Marquess of Halifax and Lady Mary Finch, on 21 March 1720/21.¹ He died on 3 December 1753 at age 59 at Chiswick, London, England^G, without male issue.³ He was buried on 15 December 1753 at Londesborough, Yorkshire, England^G.³
     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount of Dungarvan, co. Waterford [I., 1620] on 9 February 1703/4.⁴ He succeeded as the 4th Lord Boyle, Baron of Youghal, co. Cork [I., 1616] on 9 February 1703/4.⁴ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Clifford of Lanesborough, co. York [E., 1644] on 9 February 1703/4.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Burlington, co. York [E., 1665] on 9 February 1703/4.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Earl of the County of Cork [I., 1620] on 9 February 1703/4.⁴ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Boyle of Kinalmeaky, co. Cork [I., 1628] on 9 February 1703/4.⁴ He succeeded as the 4th Baron of Bandon Bridge, co. Cork [I., 1628] on 9 February 1703/4.⁴ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 30 September 1714 but never sworn.¹ He held the office of Governor of County Cork in 1715.¹ He held the office of Lord Treasurer [Ireland] in 1715.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding, Yorkshire between 1715 and 1721.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of the West Riding, Yorkshire between 1715 and 1733.¹ He held the office of Vice-Admiral of Yorkshire between 1715 and 1733.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 1 November 1722.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) on 5 February 1723/24.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 15 May 1729.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 18 May 1730.¹ He held the office of Captain of the Gentlemen Pensioners between 1731 and 1733.¹ He held the office of Constable of Knaresborough Castle.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Lord Clifford [E., 1628] on 25 May 1737.¹
     On his death, the Earldom of Burlington and Barony of Clifford of Lanesborough became extinct. The Barony de Clifford by writ went to his daughter, and his Irish titles went to his cousin, John Boyle, Earl of Orrery.³ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁵
     

     Charles Compton, 7th Earl of Northampton was born on 22 July 1737.¹ He was the son of Hon. Charles Compton and Mary Lucy.¹ He married Lady Anne Somerset, daughter of Charles Noel Somerset, 4th Duke of Beaufort and Elizabeth Berkeley, on 13 September 1759.¹ He died on 18 October 1763 at age 26.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Northampton [E., 1618] on 6 December 1758.³ He held the office of Ambassador to Venice between 1761 and 1763.¹

     Cornelius O'Callaghan, 1st Baron Lismore of Shanbally was born on 7 January 1740/41.² He was the son of Thomas O'Callaghan and Sarah Davis.² He married Frances Ponsonby, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Ponsonby and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish, on 13 December 1774.¹ He died on 12 July 1797 at age 56.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Fethard between 1761 and 1785.² He was created 1st Baron Lismore of Shanbally, co. Tipperary [Ireland] on 27 June 1785.³

     Lord Richard Cavendish was born posthumously on 3 July 1812 at Clapham, Surrey, England.^1,2 He was the son of Hon. William Cavendish and Hon. Louisa O'Callaghan.¹ He died on 19 November 1873 at age 61, unmarried.¹
     In 1858 he was granted the rank of a duke's younger son.¹

     Lady Fanny Cavendish was born circa 1809.² She was the daughter of Hon. William Cavendish and Hon. Louisa O'Callaghan.² She married Frederick John Howard, son of Major Hon. Frederick Howard and Frances Susan Lambton, on 1 July 1837.¹ She died on 30 December 1885.¹
     Her married name became Howard. In 1858 she was granted the rank of a duke's daughter.²

     George Henry Compton Cavendish was born on 14 October 1784.¹ He was the son of George Augustus Henry Cavendish, 1st Earl of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Compton.¹ He died on 22 January 1809 at age 24.¹

     General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish was born on 5 November 1789.² He was the son of George Augustus Henry Cavendish, 1st Earl of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Compton.² He married, firstly, Sarah Fawkener, daughter of William Augustus Fawkener and Elizabeth Wright, on 24 October 1811.² He married, secondly, Frances Susan Lambton, daughter of William Henry Lambton and Lady Anne Barbara Frances Villiers, on 16 June 1819.² He married, thirdly, Susanna Emma Byerlie, daughter of William Byerlie, on 28 January 1873.² He died on 5 April 1873 at age 83.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 2nd Dragoon Guards.²

     Lady Anne Cavendish was born on 11 November 1787.¹ She was the daughter of George Augustus Henry Cavendish, 1st Earl of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Compton.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Lt.-Col. Lord Charles Fitzroy, son of George Henry FitzRoy, 4th Duke of Grafton and Lady Charlotte Maria Waldegrave, on 25 October 1825.¹ She died on 27 May 1871 at age 83.¹
     From 25 October 1825, her married name became FitzRoy.

     Lady Caroline Cavendish was the daughter of George Augustus Henry Cavendish, 1st Earl of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Compton.¹ She died on 9 January 1867.¹

     Hon. Lucy Caroline Lyttelton was born on 5 September 1841.² She was the daughter of George William Lyttelton, 4th Lord Lyttelton, Baron of Frankley and Mary Glynne.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Lord Frederick Charles Cavendish, son of William Cavendish, 7th Duke of Devonshire and Lady Blanche Georgiana Howard, on 7 June 1864.¹ She died on 22 April 1925 at age 83.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish. She held the office of Maid-of-Honour to HM Queen Victoria.¹ She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹
