     Otto I Friedrich Ludwig von Bayern, King of the Hellenes was born on 1 June 1815 at Salzburg, AustriaG.4 He was the son of Ludwig I König von Bayern and Therese Charlotte Luise Prinzessin von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. He married Marie Friederike Amelie von Holstein-Gottorp, Herzogin von Oldenburg, daughter of Paul Friedrich August von Holstein-Gottorp, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Adelheid Prinzessin von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym, on 22 November 1836 at Oldenburg, Niedersachsen, GermanyG.4 He died on 26 July 1867 at age 52 at Bamberg, Hessen, GermanyG.4 He was buried at Theatinerkirche, Munich, Bavaria, GermanyG.
     He gained the title of Prinz von Bayern. He gained the title of King Otto I of the Hellenes on 6 February 1833.4 He was deposed as King of the Hellenes on 23 October 1862.4

     Luitpold Prinz von Bayern was born on 12 March 1821 at WurzburgG. He was the son of Ludwig I König von Bayern and Therese Charlotte Luise Prinzessin von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. He married Auguste Ferdinande Erzherzogin von Österreich, daughter of Leopoldo II Erzherzog von Österreich Granduca di Toscana and Marie Anne Karoline Prinzessin von Sachsen, on 15 April 1844. He died on 12 December 1912 at age 91.1
     He gained the title of Prinz von Bayern.1 He was given the name of Luitpold Karl Joseph Wilhelm Ludwig at birth.3 He held the office of Regent of Bavaria between 1886 and 1912.1
