John 'Mor' Grant, 1st of Glenmoriston1

     John 'Mor' Grant, 1st of Glenmoriston was born illegitimately.2 He was the son of John Grant, 2nd of Freuchie.1 He and Isabella Innes were divorced.3 He married, firstly, Isabella Innes, daughter of Walter Innes, 1st of Invermarkie and Christine Gordon.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Fraser, daughter of William Fraser of Teachers, circa 1544.1 He died in 1548.4
     He was ancestor of the Grants of Glenmoriston.1

Sir Edward William Crosbie, 5th Bt.1

     Sir Edward William Crosbie, 5th Bt. was born circa 1755.2 He was the son of Sir Paul Crosbie, 4th Bt. and Mary Daniel.3 He married Castiliana Westenra, daughter of Warner Westenra and Lady Hester Lambart, on 14 December 1790.2 He died on 5 June 1798 at Carlow, County Carlow, IrelandG, executed for his participation in the rebellion.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1770 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Crosbie, of Maryborough, Queen's County [I., 1630] in November 1773.2 He was admitted to King's Inns in 1778 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.2 He was an eminent balloonist.2

     Margaret Grant is the daughter of James Grant, 3rd of Freuchie and Elizabeth Forbes.1 A contract for the marriage of Margaret Grant and Thomas Cumming of Altyre was signed on 15 September 1552.2
     From 15 September 1552, her married name became Cumming.1
