Sir Robert Henry Hobart, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Robert Henry Hobart, 1st Bt. was born on 13 September 1836.2 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore.1 He married Hon. Julia Trollope, daughter of John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven and Julia Maria Sheffield, on 13 May 1869.2 He died on 4 August 1928 at age 91.2
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Law (Ll.B.)2 He was with the civil service in the War Office between 1860 and 1900.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1885.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Middlesex.2 He was Secretary to the Earl Marshal for the Coronation in 1902.2 He was Gold Staff Officer for the Coronation in 1902.2 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1902.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1902.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for New Forest between 1906 and 1910.2 He held the office of Official Verderer for the New Forest between 1907 and 1928.2 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1911.2 He was created 1st Baronet Hobart, of Langdown, Southampton [U.K.] on 14 July 1914.1

George Bertie Benjamin Hobart1

     George Bertie Benjamin Hobart was born on 3 February 1838.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore.1 He married Rose Armatrude Frances Grimston, daughter of Colonel Marmaduke Gerard Grimston, on 19 June 1889.1 He died on 27 October 1907 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Military Secretary and Private Secretary to successive Governors of Madras.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

Rose Armatrude Frances Grimston1

     Rose Armatrude Frances Grimston was born in 1859.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Marmaduke Gerard Grimston.1 She married George Bertie Benjamin Hobart, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore, on 19 June 1889.1 She died on 20 November 1927.1
     From 19 June 1889, her married name became Hobart. In 1912 her name was legally changed to Hobart-Grimston.1

     Armatrude Bertie Sophia Effie Hobart was born on 20 May 1890.1 She was the daughter of George Bertie Benjamin Hobart and Rose Armatrude Frances Grimston.1 She married Sir Max Leonard Waechter on 16 September 1912.1
     From 16 September 1912, her married name became Waechter. On 9 December 1927 her name was legally changed to Waechter de Grimston by Deed Poll.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Sir Max Leonard Waechter married Harriet Shallcross Cave, daughter of Thomas Cave and Elizabeth Shallcrass, in 1873.3 He married Armatrude Bertie Sophia Effie Hobart, daughter of George Bertie Benjamin Hobart and Rose Armatrude Frances Grimston, on 16 September 1912.1 He died on 3 October 1924.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

     Sophia Anne Eleanor Hobart was the daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Algernon Augustus Stewart, son of Algernon Stewart and Charlotte Clement, on 25 October 1864.1 She died on 20 October 1919.1
     From 25 October 1864, her married name became Stewart.

     Maj.-Gen. Algernon Augustus Stewart was born on 31 January 1839.2 He was the son of Algernon Stewart and Charlotte Clement.2 He married Sophia Anne Eleanor Hobart, daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore, on 25 October 1864.1 He died on 23 July 1905 at age 66.2
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.2
