Sir Robert Henry Hobart, 1st Bt. was born on 13 September 1836.2 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore.1 He married Hon. Julia Trollope, daughter of John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven and Julia Maria Sheffield, on 13 May 1869.2 He died on 4 August 1928 at age 91.2
He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Law (Ll.B.)2 He was with the civil service in the War Office between 1860 and 1900.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1885.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Middlesex.2 He was Secretary to the Earl Marshal for the Coronation in 1902.2 He was Gold Staff Officer for the Coronation in 1902.2 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1902.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1902.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for New Forest between 1906 and 1910.2 He held the office of Official Verderer for the New Forest between 1907 and 1928.2 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1911.2 He was created 1st Baronet Hobart, of Langdown, Southampton [U.K.] on 14 July 1914.1

George Bertie Benjamin Hobart was born on 3 February 1838.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore.1 He married Rose Armatrude Frances Grimston, daughter of Colonel Marmaduke Gerard Grimston, on 19 June 1889.1 He died on 27 October 1907 at age 69.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Military Secretary and Private Secretary to successive Governors of Madras.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1
