Colonel Sheffield Hamilton-Grace1

     Colonel Sheffield Hamilton-Grace was born on 4 May 1834.2 He was the son of Sheffield Grace and Harriet Georgina Hamilton.2 He married Anne Smijth-Windham, daughter of Joseph Smijth-Windham and Katherine Trotter, on 31 August 1875.1 He died on 7 January 1913 at age 78.1 He was also reported to have died on 7 January 1915.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.2 He lived at Knole House, Frant, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 68th Regiment.2 He was given the name of Sheffield Grace at birth.2 On 21 February 1880 his name was legally changed to Sheffield Hamilton-Grace by Royal Licence.2

Caroline Smijth1

     Caroline Smijth was born on 12 April 1796.1 She was the daughter of Sir William Smijth, 7th Bt. and Anne Windham.1 She married, firstly, Augustus James Champion de Crespigny, son of Sir William Champion de Crespigny, 2nd Bt. and Lady Sarah Windsor, on 29 August 1817.1 She married, secondly, Herbert Joseph Champion de Crespigny, son of Sir William Champion de Crespigny, 2nd Bt. and Lady Sarah Windsor, on 23 April 1831 at St. Leonards, Shoreditch, London, England.1 She died on 25 January 1876 at age 79.1
     From 29 August 1817, her married name became Champion de Crespigny.1

Augustus James Champion de Crespigny1

     Augustus James Champion de Crespigny was born on 6 March 1791 at Nice, France.2 He was the son of Sir William Champion de Crespigny, 2nd Bt. and Lady Sarah Windsor.1 He married Caroline Smijth, daughter of Sir William Smijth, 7th Bt. and Anne Windham, on 29 August 1817.1 He died on 24 October 1825 at age 34, from yellow fever on board H.M.S. Scylla.1 He was buried at Port Royal, Jamaica.2
     He fought in the Battle of Trafalgar in October 1805.2 He gained the rank of Midshipman in 1810 in the Royal Navy.2

Herbert Joseph Champion de Crespigny1

     Herbert Joseph Champion de Crespigny was born on 26 February 1806.2 He was the son of Sir William Champion de Crespigny, 2nd Bt. and Lady Sarah Windsor.1 He was baptised on 19 July 1806 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2 He married Caroline Smijth, daughter of Sir William Smijth, 7th Bt. and Anne Windham, on 23 April 1831 at St. Leonards, Shoreditch, London, England.1 He died on 1 July 1881 at age 75.1

Mary Constantia Rolt1

     Mary Constantia Rolt was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Rolt.1 She married Reverend Alfred John Edward Bowyer-Smijth, son of Sir Edward Bowyer-Smijth, 10th Bt. and Laetitia Cecily Weyland, on 17 June 1847. She died on 24 September 1898.1
     From 17 June 1847, her married name became Bowyer-Smijth.1

Edith Maude Gray1

     Edith Maude Gray was the daughter of W. Gray.1 She married Clement Weyland Bowyer-Smijth, son of Reverend Alfred John Edward Bowyer-Smijth and Mary Constantia Rolt, in 1891. She died on 29 July 1938.1
     From 1891, her married name became Bowyer-Smijth.1
