     Sir Charles Goring, 9th Bt. was born on 2 June 1828 at Portugal Street, Hanover Square, Mayfair, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Harry Dent Goring, 8th Bt. and Augusta Harvey.1 He was baptised on 2 August 1828 at Yapton, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Anne Panton, daughter of Jones Panton, on 11 February 1850 at Trinity Church, Paddington, London, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Eliza Molyneux, daughter of Reverend Capel Molyneux and Maria Carpenter, on 21 April 1857 at St. James' Church, Paddington, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 3 November 1884 at age 56 at Highden, Washington, Sussex, EnglandG, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 12th Lancers.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Bowyer, of Highden, Sussex [E., 1678] on 19 April 1859.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1860 in the 8th Sussex Rifle Volunteers.1

     From 11 February 1850, her married name became Goring.1

     Eliza Molyneux was born on 4 May 1835.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Capel Molyneux and Maria Carpenter.1 She was baptised on 5 June 1835 at St. Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, Kent, England.3 She married, firstly, Sir Charles Goring, 9th Bt., son of Sir Harry Dent Goring, 8th Bt. and Augusta Harvey, on 21 April 1857 at St. James' Church, Paddington, London, EnglandG.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Robert Ashworth Godolphin Cosby, son of Sydney Cosby and Emily Ashworth, on 22 January 1885.1 She died on 20 March 1920 at age 84.4
     From 21 April 1857, her married name became Goring.1 From 1893, her married name became Cosby.1

     Reverend Charles Goring was born circa 1805.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Forster Goring, 7th Bt. and Bridget Dent.1 He married Maria Arabella St. John, daughter of General Hon. Frederick St. John, on 2 October 1832.1,2 He died on 4 August 1859.1
     He was the Rector at Twineham, Sussex, EnglandG.2
