     Christian Law was born on 14 March 1752 at Greystoke, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian.1 He died on 21 August 1773 at age 21.1

     Joanna Law was born on 25 November 1753 at Great Salkeld, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian.1 She married Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt., son of William Rumbold and Dorothy Cheney, on 2 May 1772.2 She died on 4 January 1823 at age 69.3
     From 2 May 1772, her married name became Rumbold.1

     Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. was born on 15 June 1736.3 He was the son of William Rumbold and Dorothy Cheney.4 He married, firstly, Frances Berriman, daughter of James Berriman and Frances Aspinwall, on 22 June 1756.3 He married, secondly, Joanna Law, daughter of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian, on 2 May 1772.4 He died on 11 November 1791 at age 55.3
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service in 1752.3 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India.3 He was a tea planter.3 He fought in the Battle of Plassey in 1757, where he was severely wounded.3 He held the office of Governor of Madras.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Shoreham, Sussex.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Melcombe Regis.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shaftesbury.3 He was created 1st Baronet Rumbold, of Woodhall, Watton, Hertford [Great Britain] on 27 March 1779.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth.3 He left all his property to his children by his second wife, for whose benefit he directed that his estate of Woodhall Watton, Hertfordshire, should be sold.3

     Sir George Berriman Rumbold, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 August 1764.3 He was the son of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Frances Berriman.1,4 He married Caroline Hearn, daughter of James Hearn, in November 1783.3 He died in 1807.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Rumbold, of Woodhall, Watton, Hertford [G.B., 1779] on 11 November 1791.4 He was Minister Resident to Hamburg before 1804.3

     Emily Rumbold was born in 1790.2 She was the daughter of Sir George Berriman Rumbold, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Hearn.1,3 She married Baron Ferdinand de Delmar circa 1828.1 She died on 15 January 1861.2
     From circa 1828, her married name became de Delmar.1

     Maria Augusta Dorothea Rumbold was the daughter of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Joanna Law.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Frederick Manners.2 She married, secondly, Sir Grenville Temple, 9th Bt. on 9 June 1812.2 She died on 14 February 1852.2
     Her married name became Manners. From 9 June 1812, her married name became Temple.2
