     Sir John Savage, 1st Bt. was born in 1550.2 He was the son of Sir John Savage and Lady Elizabeth Manners.2 He married Mary Alington, daughter of Sir Richard Alington and Jane Cordell. He died in 1615.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Savage [England] on 29 June 1611.

     Sir Richard Alington was born at Horseheath Hall, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He married Jane Cordell, daughter of John Cordell.2 He died in 1571 at Long Melford, Suffolk, England.2

     From 20 August 1593, her married name became Carey.1
