     Theresa Susannah Acton was the daughter of Edward Acton and Anne Gregory.1 She married John Stackhouse on 21 April 1773.1
     From 21 April 1773, her married name became Stackhouse.1

Sir Whitmore Acton, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Whitmore Acton, 4th Bt. was born circa 1677.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Acton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Walter.1 He married Elizabeth Gibbon, daughter of Matthew Gibbon and Hester (?).1 He died on 17 January 1731/32.1,3 He was buried at Morville, Shropshire, EnglandG.2 His will (dated 19 December 1731) was proven (by probate) on 27 March 1732.2
     He matriculated at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 14 February 1694/95.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgnorth between 1710 and 1713.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Acton, of Aldenham [Aldenham Hall, in Morville], Shropshire [E., 1644] on 28 September 1716.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Shropshire from 1727 to 1728.2

     Elizabeth Gibbon was baptised on 2 January 1680 at St. Andrew's Undershaft, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Matthew Gibbon and Hester (?)1,2 She married Sir Whitmore Acton, 4th Bt., son of Sir Edward Acton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Walter.1 She died after January 1731/32.2
     Her married name became Acton.1
