Colonel Hon. Richard Southwell George Stapleton-Cotton1

     Colonel Hon. Richard Southwell George Stapleton-Cotton was born on 9 October 1849 at Peel Fold, Lancashire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Colonel Wellington Henry Stapleton-Cotton, 2nd Viscount Combermere of Bhurtpore and Susan Alice Sitwell.1 He married Hon. Jane Charlotte Methuen, daughter of Frederick Henry Paul Methuen, 2nd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Anna Horatia Caroline Sanford, on 18 October 1870.1 He died on 24 November 1925 at age 76 at Plas Llwnon, Llanfair Pg, Anglesey, WalesG.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment.1 He was Inspector-General Police for British Guiana between 1889 and 1891.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Anglesey.1

     Lt.-Col. Percy Archer Clive was born on 13 March 1873.2 He was the son of Charles Meysey Bolton Clive and Lady Katherine Elizabeth Mary Julia Feilding.2 He married Alice Muriel Dallas, daughter of Colonel George Dallas, on 25 January 1905.2 He died on 5 April 1918 at age 45, killed in action.2

     Edmund Arthur Vesey Stanley was born on 30 August 1879.1 He was the son of Edward James Stanley and Hon. Mary Dorothy Labouchere.1 He married, firstly, Sybil Agnes Dodgson, daughter of Major Heathfield Butler Dodgson, on 11 June 1919 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 He and Sybil Agnes Dodgson were divorced in 1932.1 He married, secondly, Marjorie Beatrice Booth, daughter of Alexander Reid Booth, on 30 January 1936.3 He died on 11 June 1941 at age 61.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 21st Lancers.1 He was Master of Somerset Staghounds.1 He was Master of the Foxhounds, Pytchley.1 He was Master of Quantock Staghounds, Devon.1

     Evelyn Mary Stanley was the daughter of Edward James Stanley and Hon. Mary Dorothy Labouchere.1 She married Lt.-Col. Harry William Ludovic Heathcoat-Amory, son of Sir John Heathcoat-Amory, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Mary Unwin, on 1 November 1898.1 She died on 16 November 1929.1
     Her married name became Heathcoat-Amory.

Sybil Agnes Dodgson1

     Sybil Agnes Dodgson was the daughter of Major Heathfield Butler Dodgson.1 She married, firstly, Edmund Arthur Vesey Stanley, son of Edward James Stanley and Hon. Mary Dorothy Labouchere, on 11 June 1919 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 She and Edmund Arthur Vesey Stanley were divorced in 1932.1 She married, secondly, Hon. Lionel Samuel Montagu, son of Samuel Montagu, 1st Baron Swaythling and Ellen Cohen, on 4 October 1944.3 She died in 1972.1
     Her married name became Stanley. From 4 October 1944, her married name became Montagu.3
