     Barbara Wattleworth was born in February 1713/14 at German, Isle of Man^G.¹ She is the daughter of Henry Wattleworth and Jaine Hargraves.¹ She married John Garrett, son of John Garrett and Ann Christian.¹

     John Christian was baptised on 31 October 1753 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England^G.² He was the son of John Christian and Jane Curwen.¹ He died circa October 1754 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He was buried on 2 October 1754.²

     Jane Stanley was born circa 1781 at Whitehaven, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Stanley and Julia Christian.¹ She married Henry Christian Curwen, son of John Christian Curwen and Isabella Curwen, on 11 October 1804 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹ She died on 13 April 1853 at Workington Hall, Cumberland, England.²
