     May Adams was born on 5 March 1919.1,2 She was the daughter of Caroline Adams.1 She married Henry Gilbert Campbell Quintal, son of Stephen Christian Quintal and Annie Elizabeth Adams, in 1938.1 She died on 22 March 2011 at age 92.2 She was buried at Norfolk Island Cemetery, Kingston, Norfolk ISland.2
     From 1938, her married name became Quintal.1

     He fought in the First World War, with the 1st and 53rd Battalions.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.)3
