     John Cuthbert Heathcote was born on 24 January 1852.² He is the son of Reverend Samuel John Heathcote and Mary Sidney Smith.^1,2 He married Lady Eva Campbell, daughter of John Alexander Gavin Campbell, 6th Earl of Breadalbane and Holland and Mary Theresa Edwards, on 2 May 1876.¹ He died on 25 July 1934 at age 82.²
     He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)²

     Reverend Samuel John Heathcote was born on 8 August 1823.² He was the son of Reverend Thomas Heathcote and Georgiana Fuller.² He married Mary Sidney Smith, daughter of Sir Christopher Sidney Smith, 2nd Bt. and Mary Foley, on 27 August 1846.² He died on 20 April 1906 at age 82.²
