     Alain II 'Wrybeard', Duc de Bretagne also went by the nick-name of 'Barbe Torte' (?) (or in English, 'Wrybeard.') He gained the title of Comte de Nantes. In 937 he captured Nantes.1 He gained the title of Duc de Bretagne in 937.1
