     Thomas Blake was the son of Valentine Blake and Eveline Lynch.^1,2 He died on 20 January 1574.¹ An inquest post mortem was held for his on 21 July 1576.²

     He matriculated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 1 July 1725.² In 1745 he took an active part in supporting the Government during the Jacobite Uprising.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1746.² He was created 1st Baronet Blake, of Twisel Castle, co.
