We have an inkling that Lucy Hale has a thing for dots. We first noticed her penchant for putting tiny circles on her face when she Instagrammed a paparazzi photo of her running errands, complete with carefully applied zit cream. That spare placement of dots had nothing on today’s photo, which featured some beautifully smudgy eyeliner — and black dots covering her entire complexion. (She’s embracing it, though.)
“Things are getting ...weird at work,” she wrote. “Do I have something on my face?” The answer is yes, but the question is…why?? We have three hypotheses here. Either she’s filming something that involves face motion capture (a guess supported by what appears to be a Green Screen in the background), or she’s getting measured for a Madame Tussaud’s waxwork. On the other hand, she could’ve just discovered a brand-new way to wear her liquid eyeliner. Inspiration takes many forms! Most importantly, it’s clearly not getting in the way of her stellar selfie moment. In fact, we’d argue that it adds to the artsy vibe of the shot.
