Frog is only critter wich can attack you. For instance, put a dot on him like Shadow Word: Pain (rank 1) on frog. Instead of fleeing frog start attack you for 1 or even 2-3* damage.

*Checked with lvl 8 priest =)

In Zul'Aman I have mind controlled a frog & had him attack & kill other frogs. rofl
Our group wasted so much time goofin off with the frogs that are marked as humanoid since they are actually hexxed vendors. :-P

You can actually find frogs in Zangarmarsh also. I found 3 near the Darkcrest Enclave by The Lagoon.

If you /love this critter, it adds towards one of the new Wrath of the Lich King Achievements called "To all the squirrels I've loved before".

You can find frogs in Eversong Woods as well.

Frogs can also be found in Maraudon. You'll start seeing them after you get past Celebras the Cursed and enter the Inner portion of the Instance.

These things fricken attack.

Was happily levelling up my bow skill in Ghostlands, when I tagged but didn't kill a frog. It ran away, so I went on to attack a nearby troll.

I'm happily killing the troll when I notice a red lettered frog come rushing up and bite me. I nearly shatt my pants and almost wiped :(

Now I don't kill frogs anymore.

Auto attack ability, has no animations and does 1-2 dmg... believe me it attacked me. (have to attack it first though.)

lol lvl 1 threw a dagger at it and didn't attack it thought it was following me and i was freaked out then i saw my hp was down to like 3 and killed it QUICK!

They fight back if you attack them. Because most critters run away and evade after 30 seconds, I like to pop curse of doom on these, have my voidwalker taunt it once just because I fear the fury of its one damage hits, and wait a minute to see if a doomguard spawns. Sacrifice voidwalker, curse of shadows, banish, enslave, enjoy.

Lol, I got attacked by one of these guys the other day, and it freaked me out. I had no idea that critters could attack at all.

Furthermore, they do NOT grant the rep Thottbot has attributed to them. But really, why would they? And have you ever seen someone farming them? No, or course not. Stop asking silly questions.

Has anyone else noticed that frogs turn hostile once you hit them? xD

Go up to a Frog (not a toad or anything, it has to be a Frog) and hit it *once* then quickly turn off the auto-attack. Once you hit it once it's at half health and will actually start to attack you back. The damage is minimal, but if you stood there for a while it could kill you, lol.

I just thought it was funny. I know I've ran into a couple other critters that will do this. The little tiny spiders will, and maybe some others, but Frogs are the ones I remember best.

yeah some little critters do attack you if attack them ...I've noticed it with the cockroachs in RFD too. especially if you or your pet uses an area of effect spell or move....something like shreak or torment.
