Remarks & Notes |
Heavy 0-10-0 ore train steamlocomotive R # 976 of the Jernbanemuseum Gävle (Swedish Railway Museum), built in 1909 by Nydqvist och Holm AB (NOHAB) in Trollhättan for the Swedish State Railway. 5 of this class were built and were mainly used for the heavy ore trains between Abisko and Riksgränsen ont the line Kiruna-Narvik. Because the line was electrified in 1914 already, they were used for the desired porpuse only for a short time. The locomotive made several round trips from Kiruna round the Lake Luossojärvi and through the railway yards of the LKAB ore mine, on june 30th and july 1st and 2nd. |
