Gilded Tachi (REVISED)

Nomino Heavy Industries' Historical Branch Division is dedicated to creating fairly-accurate historical weapons, although this one could be an exception; Due to a lack of experience, this weapon's grip has been heavily simplified and does not match regular Japanese nihontō wrappings. This weapon is a replica of an 11-15th century Japanese "Tachi". Being the precursor of the more common Katana, Tachi tend to be longer and more curved, as well as being worn with the edge facing down instead of up. This one has been decorated with gold inlays and has a "notare" hamon temper line on its blade.
