Existing members include serving and retired Royal Marines, family and military historians, militaria collectors and many friends of the Corps. We all have in common a desire to see the heritage and history of the Royal Marines protected and shared
The RMHS has published over 50 books and each year publishes two copies of its journal, ‘The Sheet Anchor’.
We have an extensive library dedicated to Corps History and members can access the larger archives of the National Museum of the Royal Navy for research. We also run a vibrant Facebook group where over 3500 members are active and assist with research enquiries.
Our Facebook page is the quickest way to get in touch with us and ask questions of our 4000 digital members. Many have particular expertise and experience of the RM Corps and its history. We are not able to complete research on your behalf and we are afraid that we do not have access to indivduals’s service records.
