If your point of interest is VLF and LF receiving, and if there are some strong AM BC station signals in your area, Then You have to consider possibility to buy or make the Low-Pass Flter with corner frequency (fc) about 500 - 530 kHz. One picture is worth a thousand words, so I put several pictures which explains the making of LPF which is very useful:
I had used "Iowa Hills RF-Filter design" software to calculate filter elements values. Choosing 9-pole Chebyshev LPF with cutoff frequency (corner frequency) of 530 kHz, I have made calculations for different Pass Band Ripple, in order to see which values are closest to standard elements values. You can see that on this picture:
Then I choosed thet elements value for Pass Band Ripple between 0.4 and 0.45 are most adequate for elements I already had.
