The 760 Pumpmaster is what all the other multi-pump pneumatics want to be! In production for decades, over 10 million have been sold. It shoots BBs or .177 pellets (5-shot clip) and does so with power and accuracy.
The Pumpmaster takes up to 10 pumps to send BBs 625 fps and pellets 600 fps.
Ideal for plinking and target shooting. (Never shoot BBs at metal objects!) In fact, it's so light that you can shoot all day! Suitable for younger shooters (with adult supervision) and smaller adults. For extra safety, Crosman has included their tamper-resistant Crosblock trigger-block mechanism that you control with a key.
Pellets are loaded into a 5-shot manual clip, while BBs have an 18-shot magazine, which is fed from the 200-shot reservoir. It comes with a hooded front sight and an elevation-adjustable rear sight, but you can get even more accuracy by mounting a scope or red dot on the 11mm dovetail.

2 of 2 Crosman CROSMAN 760 Reviews
This is the only remaining RIFLED BARREL pumper from Crosman. With the rifled barrel, this little gem is a tack driver with pellets (BBs should not be used in rifled barrels).
Things I Would Have ChangedI would add the small 'scope from the 764. It's still the best entry level airgun.
What Others Should KnowPump guns do not have the recoil of a spring gun, nor the expense of a PCP, making them the best overall choice for young shooters...fewer bad habits will result from the easier hold.

Ah, yes...the air rifle of my youth. So what's changed in 40 years? Well you still get the wood stock and forearm with the XLS. It still shoots BBs and pellets but I wouldn't use BBs at all since I would not want to damage the rifled barrel. It now has a 5 shot magazine and a fiber optic front sight which is nice.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe 5 shot magazine is a manual design which means you have to move it each time to the next available pellet after each shot, too bad Crosman didn't mimic the semi-auto design of the IZH-61's magazine.
What Others Should KnowThe rear sight is adjustable for elevation but not for windage. So of course mine is shooting about 4" to the left at 30' right out of the box. Bending the rear sight to the side seems to be the only solution. I'll put an inexpensive scope on it but why not offer a basic fully adjustable rear sight like on the model 66?
