Midterm Textile

Wanted to merge Indian and western glam rock aesthetics. Loud, obnoxious, extra, over the top. Imagine it taking the form of a slip dress. Originally I wanted to use white organza but the colors looked too "pretty", thought it could end up looking kind of "romantic" after the beading, and I wanted something more gaudy and tacky looking. Used fabric swatches (which I cut into tear drop shapes), beads and sequins, and cellophane (sort of spur of the moment haha)
