Italian Dance Traditional

Another tradition is the Italian folk dance, as seen in the picture. For centuries, dances has been an integral part of Italian tradition and symbolize the continuous thread of Italian life. Three of the most popular dances are the Tarantella from Puglia, the Sardinian ballu tundu and the Neapolitan Saltarello. The tarantella is conducted to heal mythical tarantula bites, hence the similarity between the words. Italian folk dances are performed on special occasions such as a wedding.
