They support up to 30 lbs in drywall or plaster, and can support up to 100 lbs in wood studs Bear claw screw measures 1 ¼” long while the shaft measures ¼”, and the diameter of the head measures 11/32”  No pilot hole required – with its sharp self-drilling tip, they’re easily installed with a phillips screwdriver. Best used on drywall, lath, plaster, or wood but can  also be installed into concrete, brick, or masonry with a 1/8" pilot hole.
