Clipboards are great literacy tools and can be used in the different play areas - in the family corner to write shopping lists or make doctor's notes or in the block area or outside to draw plans on or when making potions write the recipes down or when children explain their big complicated working theories to you, ask them to draw you a picture [schematic drawing] to help you understand.
