Join Beth, our new intern at the Marine Discovery Centre, Kuda Huraa, as she learns about caring for the sea turtles in our Head Start Programme, and attends a 'ghost net' awareness course. Beth helps out with our national Turtle ID Project, photographing wild sea turtles on the reef, and there's a spectacular dolphin cruise !

The USS Somerset (LPD-25) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport ship of the United States Navy. Apart from the U.S. Marines the armament consists of two 30 mm Bushmaster II cannons, for surface threat defense and two Rolling Airframe Missile launchers.

On 2 April 1982 Argentina invaded the English held Falkland Islands. Britain's Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher (The Iron Lady), promptly responded with force. In a series of violent clashes the British eventually secured the island after two months of enemy occupation.
