Dojo supercomputer

A supercomputer from Tesla that is used to train its autonomous vehicle systems on millions of terabytes of data uploaded from the Tesla electric vehicles on the road. In production since 2023, the Tesla-designed 354-core D1 CPU chip is the heart of the system.

The Next Dojo

Tesla announced that it plans to purchase 10,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs for its next-generation supercomputer. See H100, supercomputer, exaFLOPS and Tesla.

The Dojo Architecture Multiple Tesla-designed D1 chips, manufactured by TSMC, make up training tiles, six of which reside in the system tray. There are two system trays per cabinet and 10 cabinets per ExaPOD for a total of 1,062,000 cores.
