Recently the Super Mario Galaxy speedrunning community decided to allow the Super Mario 3d All stars version, which was previously in a different src page). They seperated the switch runs from the Wii/Wii u ones which makes sense. What I want to change is the way they handled the ILs. For some reason these also have seperate leaderboards. As far as I know the switch version isn't faster in ILs. So I think we should change this and have the switch version be on the same leaderboards as Wii/Wii U.
Generally it's for Dome RTAs. How ILs on SRC work is a subcategory in 1 level must be applied to all of them. And in the case of Dome RTA, the loads WILL make a difference. So it isn't quite the SMG Mods being able to control that
Well, loads can still play a role for certain ILs, like anything in Good Egg or Toy Time (at least, if we're comparing disc to VC and Switch lmao)
I think toogs means good egg and toy time are large levels so they take longer to load generally - so there is more of a difference with faster loads.
The loading of the levels in switch and Wii/Wii U are identical for ILs. The only difference between switch and Wii/Wii U is grabbing the star. Wii and Wii U loads can differ, but if you wait in the star menu for about 3s, the Wii loads will be identical to Wii U loads. Also, levels that are larger like Toy Time 3, may be faster on switch cause the loads on Wii/Wii U are very slow.
Hey everyone! The level leaderboards have been updated! There are now only two main categories: "All Stars" and "Single Stars" and the characters are now subcategories. In order to do this, I had to manually transfer all of the Luigi runs (including obsolete runs) to the two main categories respecti
