Two friends, Rob and Scott, are in their apartment watching TV and eating sandwiches. They begin reminiscing about past apartments as they hear a police radio transmission. Scott picks up the radio and responds as they pretend to be police officers on a stakeout. They follow the suspect using fake surveillance equipment and coordinate with other pretend officers by radio. Their team is able to box in and arrest the suspect. Rob and Scott celebrate their successful pretend arrest.

The sound of a door unlocking to which the camera switches to the apartment door opening and a second man entering. The Second man (Rob) then throws the first man (Scott) a sandwich as the speech begins. MATCH ON ACTION Scott Chilli Chicken Salad? SHOT REVERSE SHOT Rob (Dismissive) Of course! SHOT REVERSE SHOT Scott And the granary bread? SHOT REVERSE SHOT Rob Pfft, obviously, what do you take me for? CUT TO Scott Good stuff! Thanks mate! I’ve gotta get me one of these one day! CUT TO THE SOUND OF POLICE RADIO CRACKLES ON THE COFFEE TABLE IN THE BACKGROUND OF THE SCENE. THE RADIO IS SHOWN ON SCREEN WITH THE AUDIO OF THE SPEAKER Officer on the Radio Mike Delta 592 receiving SCOTT LEANS FORWARDS, PICKS UP THE RADIO OFF OF THE TABLE AND REPLIES TO THE TRANSMISSION Scott Mike Delta 592, Go ahead!
AS Media Ben Walker RingwoodSchool Officer on the Radio Suspect seen exiting the North East exit of the building, that’s North East exit. Over. MATCH ON ACTION SCOTT AND ROB MOVE INTO THE OTHER ROOM WHERE THE STAKE OUT EQUIPMENT IS. Scott (First sentence into the radio, the second to Rob) Received, standby for further. It’s go time! CUT TO THE TWO OFFICERS, BEGIN TO USE THEIR STAKEOUT EQUIPMENT AND NOW HAVE THE SUSPECT IN THEIR SIGHTS. EXT. POLICE CAR IN THE CAR PARK – CLEAR DAY Officer on the radio It’s definitely him, Matthews! INT. APARTMENT – CLEAR DAY Rob (Now with the radio) He is getting into the grey BMW. Do not let him leave in that car!
AS Media Ben Walker RingwoodSchool THE SUSPECT TURNS ON THE CAR AND BEGINS TO LEAVE THE SITE CUT EXT. CAR PARK - CLEAR DAY GO PRO VIEW DOWN THE SIDE OF THE GETAWAY CAR. REVERSES AND THEN ACCELERATES FORWARDS. INT. APARTMENT – CLEAR DAY Rob Do not let him leave! EXT. CAR PARK- CLEAR DAY THE SUSPECTS CAR IS BOXED IN BY AN UNMARKED POLICE CAR. THE CAMERA THEN CHANGES TO THE TWO OFFICERS LISTENING TO THE AUDIO OF OFFICERS PULLING THE SUSPECTS OUT OF THE CAR AND ARRESTING HIM. INT. APARTMENT – CLEAR DAY Scott Got ‘im! ROB AND SCOTT FIST PUMP IN CELEBRATION OF A SUCCESSFUL ARREST. End of Script
