What is the personalization experience?
The personalization experience allows you, once logged in to SignMedia.ca, to influence the articles that appear on the website's homepage by following topics (tags) or liking articles that you're interested in.
This will be used to prioritize the content that is presented to you on the homepage. You will also receive an alert in your My Account menu (located in the top right corner) each time new content with the tag(s) you've followed is posted.
Additionally, you will have a dedicated page to view articles with the tags you've followed as well as a page dedicated to articles and products that you liked.
How do I follow articles?
In order to follow an article, you first have to be logged in. If you don't have an account, register now. It's free and easy.
There are two ways for you to follow an article:
- From the My Account dropdown (located in the top right corner) select Manage Follows. There you can choose the topic(s) you want to follow from a list of 20 tags.
- Click the FOLLOW <TAG> icon at the top of the article page on articles posted with one or more of the 20 followable tags.
How do I view items I've followed?
You can view items with the tags you've followed by accessing the My Account dropdown in the top right corner and selecting Followed Articles.
How do I like items (articles, products)?
You can like items by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon at the top or bottom of the item pages or next to the item on the Features, News, and Products sections.
How do I view items I've liked?
You can view items you've liked by accessing the My Account dropdown in the top right corner and selecting My Likes.
