an Athenian tragedy by Sophocle

429 BC. It was the second in
order of Sophocles's composition

infant. Hesitant to do so, she
orders a servant to commit the
act for her. Instead, the servant
takes the baby to a mountain top

loves Lavinia more, when really
they are merely guided by lust.
They murder Bassianus and then
brutally rape and disfigure
Lavinia.

The denouement of this tragedy
is a number of killings ensue; the
only people left alive are Marcus,
Lucius, Young Lucius, and Aaron.
Lucius has the unrepentant
Aaron buried alive, and Tamora's
corpse thrown to the beasts. And
becomes the new emperor of
Rome.
Revenge
Some of Titus son were killed in
war with the Goth as a result,
Titus feels compelled to sacrifice
Tamoras son Alarbus. Then,
Tamora is now seeking revenge
for his son Alarbus so she asks
her two other sons Demetrius
and Chiron to rape Lavinia which
in turn leads directly to Titus
killing of Demetria and Chiron
and his eventual killing of
Lavinia nd Tamora. However he
is killed by the hands of
Saturninus and who in turn is
killed by Lucius to avenge the
death of his Father Titus.
