    SEE ALSO...

NSF Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NSF protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NSF antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NSF (A-3) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in regulating membrane fusion processes, particularly in exocytosis, where NSF is essential for disassembling SNARE complexes vital for vesicle fusion with target membranes. By facilitating SNARE protein recycling, NSF ensures efficient operation of cellular machinery responsible for neurotransmitter release and other membrane trafficking events. NSF (A-3) monoclonal antibody serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying exocytosis dynamics and molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic function, providing insights into both normal physiology and potential pathologies associated with synaptic dysfunction.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515043 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
