Metal Balling Guns

For calves, goats, sheep and swine:

Medium with Clear Head 5/8" x 12" (sc-361773): A metal balling gun with a clear vinyl head for administration of one bolus to calves and adult goats, sheep and swine. Ideal for use with UltraCruz^® Cattle Copper Bolus for calves, and UltraCruz^® Goat and Sheep Cobalt Bolus. Manufactured by Stone. Supplied as a single balling gun measuring 12" in length.

For administering multiple boluses:

Large Multidose (sc-361776): A metal multi-dose balling gun for administration of up to 5 boluses to adult cattle. Ideal for use with UltraCruz^® Cattle Copper Bolus for adults, UltraCruz^® Cattle Cobalt Bolus, and UltraCruz^® Livestock Digestive Relief. Manufactured by Stone. Dimensions: 1-1/8" inner diameter, 1-1/4" outer diameter, 18" length. Supplied as a single balling gun.

Indications: For administering boluses or capsules to animals only.

Directions for Use: Extend the plunger and place a bolus or capsule inside the head of the balling gun. Insert the gun into the animal's mouth from the side, then center the head of the gun with the center of the throat opening. Be careful not to force the head of the gun too far down the throat or damage to the pharynx could occur. Push on the plunger and the bolus will release. After releasing the bolus, make sure it is swallowed before removing the gun. Slowly pull the gun back and remove it from the mouth. Clean with soap and water, and dry well.
