I have heard about the spawning issues, and after hours of testing I'm not getting any issues.

ALL AROUND THE MAP updates:
New dirt roads/tracks and beach sands.
AREA SPECIFIC updates:
ANNESBURG: New rocky-, gravel- and soil grounds.
BIG VALLEY & TALL TREES: New rocky grounds, riverside rocks and grass.
BLACKWATER: Multiple new pavements and trash/hay decals.
DEWBERRY CREEK: Multiple new rocky-, sandy- and soil grounds.
HEARTLANDS: Multiple new topside cliff rocks and grassy gravel.
LEMOYNE: Multiple new sands, ground dead leaves and a lot of different farm soils.
VAN HORN: New mud, trash and leaves decals, overall more new textures.
Patch 1.2
Main area:
Added around 30 new archives.
Many areas didn't have their archive in previous version, which are now included,
so you will be seeing a lot more new textures.
Fixed bugs and remade multiple textures.
New textures:
ROANOKE: New leaves variants, woodchips, rocky grounds, various dirt grounds and mud.
BIG VALLEY: New forest grounds.
BAYO: New mud vegetations.
HEARTLANDS: Multiple new dirt rocky grounds, few new textures at Emerald ranch and texture fixes.
South:
This now includes textures for Great Plains and Tall Trees area, and a bit of Hennigan's and Thieves Landing.
TALL TREES: New dirt grounds, leaves, moss, rocky grounds, twigs etc.
GREAT PLAINS: New sands, grasses, gravels etc.

As of patch 2.0 mod covers Ambarino, New Hanover, Lemoyne, West Elizabeth and New Austin.
This is not a FULL terrain textures replacement. There are still vanilla textures around, but this covers a lot of textures.

Additionally Saint Denis and Blackwater has seen work done on pavements and various city textures.
Textures are completely remade, not upscales.
Albedo and Normal maps are 2k.
AO, Roughness and Heightmaps are 1k. (some from main archive are 2k)
Vanilla is 1k/512.
Compatibility and recommendations
I highly recommend at least 8GB VRAM GPU and 16GB RAM,
anything below that might cause crashes and other issues.
There shouldn't be compatibility issues with any mods, expect for mods changing terrain textures.
So just make sure you only use this mod for terrain textures.
Vanilla vs TTO benchmark (patch 1.2), some weird way TTO actually manages to get more fps at some places.
Install:
Download Lenny's Mod Loader. (this also requires ScriptHookRDR2 V2)
Drop the lml folders from both TTO main and TTO south to your main RDR2 directory.
Open up ModManager and check that both ”Terrain Textures Overhaul” and ”Terrain Textures Overhaul - South” are active.
Recommended mods for even better visuals:
this will hide some terrain textures, but its still worth it.

USE VULKAN, this doesn't work on dx12.
This is a large project, and I had to change a lot of textures in waaaay too many archives, so there might be issues that I haven't seen.
Please let me know if you find anything weird.
