A piece showcasing the relationship of insects and agriculture. I think about all the time how people are usually afraid of insects and want to kill them, but we should really understand their ecological importance. Without bugs, our crops would die. Several species that I remember seeing a lot when I was a child are on the endangered list due to pesticide overuse, including the lightning bug, swallowtail butterfly, and more. Maybe I'm just preaching to a silent choir here.
