I am a postdoctoral researcher in TORUS programme. My research interests lie in Human-Building-Interaction, Human-Centred Smart Buildings and IoT/Adaptive Architecture for health and wellbeing. My work is primarily design-led, exploring how technologies and interfaces can support health and wellbeing in data-rich environments.
I am interested in the design of technologies that address the spatial context and the experiences in it, bringing my academic background in architecture within HCI & Ubicomp Research. My PhD unpacked the experiences of the building occupants in a smart office building, focusing on the use of Air Quality data for wellbeing in that context. Through design research, I explored how physical interfaces can enhance data awareness in the workplace.
I have experience working with sensory data; mixed methods of data analysis; and strong skills in digital and physical prototyping. In the past, I have worked as a user experience researcher in Microsoft Research, Digital Transformation Analyst (including UX/UI design and prototyping in AR/VR), Visual Designer, and Architectural Designer.
I hold a PhD in Human Computer Interaction, MSc Architecture, and SCQF8 in Software Design and Development.
