REVIEWS Review by WK (posted on 14-Feb-2008) This was a made for TV movie, so the production (special effects) are not exactly up to big budget blockbuster movie standards, but it doesn't matter, the story is based on true events, and once you latch on to the characters, your hooked. Scott Bakula is amazing, he somehow missed out on being a Hollywood Headliner, but his style is awesome, and he played this part so well that you believe that he is actually "Jay"
Robert Loggia,... well,... he's Robert Loggia, every movie that I have ever seen him in,.. he is not that character,... he is Robert Loggia,... coolest voice in Hollywood.
All of the actors were perfectly matched to their roles, and did a wonderful job with their parts.
I watch this movie from time to time (recorded it from TV years ago) and each time it has the same effect,... if you do not cry, and/or cheer at the end, then you have no pulse.
Find a copy anyway you can, and hold on to it,..it is a great movie to watch at Christmas, or any time of the year that you want to be inspired or moved.
(a little trivia) The main 2 (real life) characters, are actually in the movie!.... during the ending.
Awesome Movie!!
