I might have figured what is wrong with the code. I typed it in using Caps Lock and the numbers above the keyboard (so, not Numpad), after having failed in lower case or using Numpad. It seems it's somehow different.
Perhaps this might help future users.

Got it installed and set up but when i click on the application it opens a launcher (the window that says general, options, and controls) but its all effed up, i cant see like half the window and cant launch the game

I managed to install the game but when I try to run it I get an error
"a buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. the program can't safely continue execuction and must now be terminated" :(

I've downloaded the "PMA_W32_M.exe" file, but still wants the cd, any idea?

Some troubleshooting:
- After mounting the iso and running autorun.exe If you get the "Error 1721" message after the installer finishes then reverts the install back, change the compatibility of autorun.exe to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)", it will finish installing this time.
- The game normally requires a CD and will check for one, but gamecopyworld.com has a no CD patch that replaces "PMA_W32_M.exe" in the installation folder which fixes this.
- The code E27P-896A-7M2C-K7MF-HRLD in the comments personally worked for me, don't know why it hasn't for the other commenter.

Every couple of weeks or so I come to see if there's a new code or a better way of running it on Windows 10 because Zane's code doesn't work at all.
