Day 1: Dehradun – Gangotri – Dehradun

The Yatra for Gangotri commences from Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun. Be sure to reach the helipad an hour prior to the time of departure with an aim of completing all the found formalities. After a flying journey of around 45 minutes to 1 hour you will be reaching the helipad in Harsil.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by our tour representative who will guide you to a car which will transfer you to Gangotri temple. This journey is known for being one of the most scenic routes in the Char Dham itinerary. On reaching the temple you will be taken for a VIP / Priority Darshan. After a completion of your Darshan and puja rituals you will be made to head back to Harsil to board the flight back to Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun.

This will mark the end of your journey to Gangotri by helicopter with us.

I feel so fortunate that me and my family had the opportunity to go for this prestigious Char Dham Yatra by helicopter. We opted for the 5 days and 4 nights of helicopter journey as it suited our plans of having the Darshan and were also interested in sightseeing of nearby places. Our helicopter journey was started from Dehradun and it was so fun and the views were amazing. I will definitely thank Mr Pilot for the hard work they put in to provide comfortable journey with pocket friendly accommodation and of course the food was delicious. We took this ultimate journey via the mode of helicopter. Me and my family consist of my husband and 2 kids (7 yrs and 10 yrs). I was so worried because I read in places that kids should not go for this and it was one of my main reasons for choosing the helicopter way.
