As we edge toward the highly-anticipated worldwide release of EA FC 24, there are a few ways you can get your hands on the game early.

EA FC 24 will be officially released worldwide on September 29, 2023, but if you pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game, you can access the full game a whole week in advance from September 22, 2023. This is an improvement on the three days of early access offered for FIFA 23, but another way players can access the game early is through EA Play.

Subscribers to EA Play can access a 10-hour early access trial of EA FC 24, as well as a bunch of other rewards and monthly bonuses including exclusive benefits for EA-published games whilst also getting a 10% discount on all EA digital purchases. The EA Play subscription costs £3.99 / $4.99 / AU$6.99 per month or £19.99 / $29.99 / AU$49.99 per year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

There's also a more expensive EA Play service, EA Play Pro, which gives more EA FC 24 bonuses than the regular EA Play subscription, including full access to EA FC 24. This does come at a much bigger price though, with EA Play Pro costing £14.99 / $14.99 / AU$19.99 per month or £89.99 / $99.99 / AU$129.99 per year.

How to get an EA FC 24 10-hour early access trial using EA Play

To access your 10-hour EA FC 24 EA Play early access trial ahead of the official release date, follow the instructions below:

  1. Subscribe to EA Play

  2. Download your EA FC 24 EA Play trial on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X or PC

  3. Add the PS5, PC or Xbox Series X/S version or PS4, Xbox One version of EA FC 24 to your game library

  4. Launch the 10-hour trial from September 22, 2023

Make sure to manually quit the game when you have finished a playing session, as the trial may continue in the background and you don't want to waste any of your limited trial time! If you were planning on pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 24 though, then a subscription to EA Play would be pointless for the 10-hour free trial, with the Ultimate Edition offering unlimited early access from September 22, 2023.

The advantage of using EA Play is that you don't need to have pre-ordered or purchased EA FC 24 to use it, and if you decide to purchase the game after, any progress you make will be carried over.

Other EA FC 24 EA Play benefits

As well as the early access, EA Play subscribers receive 10% off any in-game purchases in EA FC 24, including FC Points. In FIFA 23, EA Play members received free XP in Ultimate Team every FUT Season, but in EA FC 24, EA Play subscribers will receive monthly Ultimate Team Draft tokens (yes, plural), seasonal Club rewards and seasonal Volta apparel and coins.
