Palencia Cathedral

For me it is a real gem in Tierra de Campos. Experts call it the "beautiful stranger". Most Spaniards don't know about it and when they discover its cathedral they are amazed. Among its many curiosities: El Greco's "Saint Sebastian", the curious gargoyles and finally on the side of the main altar the size of wooden statue of Doña Jimena. Legend has it that if you pull the ponytail you can make a wish which will come true. It was declared a Historic Artistic Monument.
