Dr. Junying Zhang currently works as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University. She serves as the academic leader of Xidian University, a member of IEEE, and a senior member of the China Electronics Society and Computer Society. She obtained a Bachelor of Automatic Control from Xidian University of Technology (1982), a Master of Computer Applications from Xidian University (1985), and a Doctor of Signal and Information Processing from Xidian University (1998). Currently, she is mainly engaged in research in intelligent information processing, machine learning and causal learning, pattern recognition and image processing, whole genome association analysis, motif discovery of biological networks, disease-related computational bioinformatics, and medical image processing.
