Author Biographies

Yitong Zheng received a B.Eng. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2016. He is currently working towards a Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. His research interests include machine learning and computer vision, with a focus on object detection, image classification, and image dehazing.
Jia Su received a B.Eng. degree in Communication Engineering (2008) and an M.Eng. degree in Optical Communication (2011) from the Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Guilin, China, and a Ph.D. degree in Signal and Information Processing from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2015. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China. His research interests include radar signal processing and time frequency analysis.
Shun Zhang received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2009 and 2016, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electronic and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. His research interests include machine learning, computer vision, and human–computer interaction, with a focus on object detection, visual tracking, person re-identification, image classification, feature extraction, and sparse representation.
Mingliang Tao received a B.Eng. degree in intelligent science and technology from Xidian University, in 2011, and a Ph.D. degree in signal processing from the National Laboratory of Radar Signal Processing, Xidian University, in 2016. He was a recipient of the Doctoral Dissertation Award by the China Education Society of Electronics and by the Shaanxi Province of China. Since July 2016, he joined Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) as an Associate Professor. He authored more than 30 journal and conference papers in the last five years. Dr. Tao was the recipient of the Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) in 2017 and 2020, and was among the Finalists for Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program of China in 2017. His research interests are radio frequency interference and radar signal processing.
Ling Wang received B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1999, 2002, and 2004, respectively. From 2004 to 2007, he worked at Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks. Since 2007, he has been with the School of Electronic and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, and was promoted to Professor in 2012. His current research interests include array processing and smart antennas, wideband communications, cognitive radio, adaptive antijamming for satellite communications, satellite navigation, and date link systems.
