“You can sorta understand a censor getting upset about your reaction to a movie you very much liked, or very much did not like, right. This movie was neither, but both my review, and literally the fact that I even watched it, were tampered with, quite frankly. Not even just the public review page, but my own personal list of watched movies, right…. Anyway, yeah: it was average normie androcentric propaganda about men and how they are so under appreciated, and women, and how they are tyrants. And how if only a change were to come, and men could finally be allowed into the light, and women could share just a tiny, little bit, right. The lead male literally declares that his deep loathing turned into love because of a single kiss and a few words. They could have made her character be cold and aloof, without her being cruel, insulting and selfish. But that’s what they chose, and then that all’s suppose"
“I saw The Proposal last Saturday with some friends, and all of us were very impressed with the film. Of course the plot is gentle, yet very predictable, and I did feel the writers could have developed Margaret's dominance over Andrew more. Still, it is very well done. One definite plus was the strong performances from Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, Bullock especially gave one of her better performances in years. The two share a real chemistry and some good comic timing that was really refreshing to see. Out of the supporting cast, who all did very solid work Oscar Nunez deserves mention for his hilarious portrayal as the handyman, it is Betty White a delightful and very underrated actress who steals the show as the matriarch who thinks marriage is preachy. The Proposal is further advant” read more
