America Latina after sharing our post against their shitty abortion ideas based on facts? ... We already though that ... Like we said, once people have shitty ideas, they are not open to listen to science and facts https://buff.ly/43Eyiys https://buff.ly/3xgBSTe especially if their brain is bombarded with bullshit religious fake things ... https://buff.ly/3Hoylnz This is the big difference between scientists and average people. Scientists are ready to verify and change if facts they discover go against their ideas ... normal people prefer to die following their no sense ideas ... No matter, WE WILL NEVER change facts or science to make happy people that don't want to listen to science and facts. We will never be a double face organisation, like many other out there. You can find facts as rude, but the reality is that facts are facts and facts (means real facts based on science and stats, not bullshit personal opinions like most people are sharing...) give a shit how you feel once you listen to them ... https://buff.ly/3VyV2xx If people want to be ignorant, well it's their choice. Remember, don't complain or say sorry once things happens. https://buff.ly/3O7N5v0 https://lnkd.in/gMf_Jp8u https://buff.ly/49Vvu1z …

In Denmark the government wants mandatory military service for women in the name of equality. They need more resources and say that an equal amount of men and women in the military reflects our society. But what is the giant thing that is overlooked here that risks being a lot more expensive for society in the long run? Take a guess

Extract-Denmark to start conscripting women for military service Denmark has announced plans to extend military conscription to women for the first time and increase the standard service time. It also wants to boost its defence budget by nearly $6bn (£4.6bn) in the next five years to meet Nato targets. "We do not rearm because we want war. We are rearming because we want to avoid it," said PM Metter Frederiksen. Tensions in Europe have spiked since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Unveiling the reforms on Wednesday, Ms Frederiksen said the government was seeking to achieve "full equality between the sexes". Meanwhile, Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said: "More robust conscription, including full gender equality, must contribute to solving defence challenges, national mobilisation and manning our armed forces." Women in the Scandinavian country can already volunteer for military service. Now the government plans to introduce female conscription from 2026, making it only the third European nation - alongside Norway and Sweden - to require women to serve in the armed forces… https://lnkd.in/eK7-FJV2

Today, on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, we reflect on the courage of those standing against russian military aggression. 🪖👩🏻 Ukrainian women—now an integral part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine—have shown unparalleled resilience. Over 68,000 women serve in the military, with 48,000 of them holding active duty positions and 5,000 women directly on the frontlines. Their role is essential, and they are also paving the way for future generations. Women have long fought for their right to serve. Here are some milestones that highlight their achievements: ✅ 2018 — Women were officially allowed to hold combat positions. Before this, snipers or assault soldiers were often listed as support personnel, such as seamstresses. ✅ 2019 — Girls were granted the right to enter military academies, preparing them for leadership roles in the army. ✅ 2024 — This year marked the first time women received female-designed uniforms, after years of wearing gear designed for men. Yet, the battlefield is not the only place where women are fighting. They manage logistics, provide humanitarian aid, care for children, and deliver critical support to soldiers. Women weave camouflage nets, cook for displaced families, and rally international aid—all while striving for Ukraine’s victory. 💪 Despite these achievements, challenges remain—issues like supply shortages, sexual harassment, and underestimation of their contributions are still part of the struggle. But they continue to persevere, defending Ukraine and fighting for equal recognition within the army. 📌Our articles focus on women because their experiences are less covered, but many issues in the army are common. 📚 We suggest reading the column of the fallen servicewoman Iryna Tsybukh: The Injustice Experienced by the Children of War — https://lnkd.in/dyzTWc6y Let’s honor the courage of all defenders today while especially acknowledging the significant struggles and contributions of women in this ongoing fight for freedom and equality. #DefendersDay #WomenInCombat #UkraineStrong #StopRussianAggression #GenderEquality #StandWithUkraine #MilitaryWomen

Institutional abuse in the Australian Defence Force - it's systemic; it's masculine; it takes lives; it harms men, women and families; it's a stain on the fabric of our nation. And, it's often deeply gendered. 🛑 Last night I attended the launch of a new book that explores these issues. 'Warrior Solider Brigand: Institutionalised Abuse in the Australian Defence Force' by Ben Wadham and James Connor is a forensic analysis of how institutional abuse in the Australian Defence Force has affected its personnel, both men and women. 📖 With the final report from the Royal Commission into Defence and Veterans Suicide released earlier this month, the book is a timely reminder of the need to learn from the past and do better for veterans and current serving members and their families. 💞 I am looking forward to diving into this difficult but important work. The book is available through Melbourne University Press and wherever all good books are sold - https://lnkd.in/eHJvTw8v 📣 #AustralianDefenceForce #veteransaffairs #veterans #insitutionalabuse #sexualharrassment #gender #genderequality

Many of my LinkedIn connections may not have military experience, but as I watch what's unfolding in the Middle East, a thought crossed my mind about the possibility of a military draft. My question was simple: would only American men, identifying as biological males, be drafted? The idea of young men being called to serve, while undocumented migrants remained, raised concerns for me as an Army Vet. However, after looking into it, I discovered that the Selective Service requires not only U.S. citizens but also undocumented individuals and transgender individuals assigned male at birth to register. It does not require transgender individuals assigned female at birth to register. #nowar #concernedcitizen #selectiveserve

NEW POLICY BRIEF | Ukrainian Women Veterans’ Experience From 2014 to the Present #Ukraine is bracing for a significant increase in the number of veterans, which is estimated to reach 4 million by the end of the full-scale invasion. Of those who return from military service, up to 20 percent will be women. But the country's current veteran care system is ill-equipped to handle the unique needs of women veterans. This gap has detrimental effects not only on these veterans’ lives but also on Ukrainian society as a whole. In this fourth policy brief from our #FFPinUkraine series, Dr. Yuliia Siedaia spotlights the specific needs and challenges facing women veterans – and outlines what Ukraine's international supporters can do to better address them. ➡ Read the full brief: https://lnkd.in/dnHxiqcR

An Axis of Authoritarians? Foreign Policy Research Institute 25 Jul 2024 Chain Reaction From Ukraine, to the Middle East, to the Indo-Pacific, American officials claim to see an increasing level of policy coordination among China, Russia, and Iran. In this view, the three authoritarian powers work to support each other and challenge the US. In the worst case, their cooperation could take the form of a combined military challenge to the US in multiple theaters. But what level of coordination actually exists among China, Russia, and Iran, and what are the implications for the US? FPRI Senior Fellow Nick Gvosdev joins Bob Hamilton on Chain Reaction to discuss these questions.
