The VGP story

Having joined VGP Romania in February 2020 was already expecting a challenging & interesting professional experience, taking on the assignment to accelerate growth, expand to national coverage & push the brand awareness.

Now, at the end, I could say that have indeed experienced a very intense & high-paced activity under the challenging times of Covid 19 crisis epidemic, nevertheless very rewarding & filled with many relevant milestones achieved:

• 3 new active parks added to portfolio (VGP Brasov, VGP Arad, VGP Bucharest) additional to existing ones Timisoara (over 10 years of presence ) & Sibiu ( 2019)
• 3 plot acquisition finalized (Arad-40ha, Bucharest-20ha, Sibiu extension-10ha) enabling national expansion and entering on the Bucharest market as well
• 5 new buildings permitted & initiated, totaling 125,000 sqm lettable space (two already completed & leased - above photo). When all completed will almost double the VGP footprint in Romania vs January 2020.
• 15 new leases or lease extensions for over 75,000 sqm lettable space
•  local team reinforcement & restructuring
• complete reshaping of procurement processes to increase contractor's confidence and attain competitive pricing
•  intense market representation & active VGP branding on all media channels

None of the above would have been possible without the countless efforts and dedication of a great VGP team (local & external alike) as well as the valuable support of our external partners ( legal, leasing & technic). Thank you all!
