VGK knew advanced fan segmentation and AI could unlock more revenue across their ticket inventory. For 2024-25, they set a partnership goal with us: generate an additional $500K across season tickets, partial plans, single games, and themed events. The result? They crushed it. 𝟮𝟭𝟳% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 — 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 $𝟱𝟬𝟬𝗞 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 $𝟭𝗠+ 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲. But it wasn't just about hitting numbers. Media companies aren’t just buying sports rights anymore… they’re buying sports themselves. We've recently seen: 📺 Fox take a 33% stake in Penske Entertainment (IndyCar + Indianapolis Motor Speedway) as part of a $125M+ deal. 📱 ESPN grab a minority stake in Premier Lacrosse League (while renewing its broadcast rights). 🏈 NFL is close to a deal for ~10% equity in ESPN in exchange for major media assets like NFL Network and RedZone. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: Media companies aren't willing to just pay for sports anymore, they want ownership (and control of the ecosystem). Why this matters: • Lets networks capture upside beyond ad sales • Creates leverage in a streaming-first sports world • Aligns incentives between broadcasters, leagues, & investors

$880M poured into youth sports tech last year. That kind of investment tells us one thing loud and clear: People believe in the future of this space. And for good reason. Tech has already made major strides in helping teams organize, fundraise, and perform at a higher level. But there’s still work to do. Families are still stretched thin just to keep their kids on the field. Coaches are still buried in logistics instead of focusing on player development. Athletes are still burning out too early—often from preventable causes. This isn’t about pointing fingers. It’s about identifying what’s next. We’re in the early innings of a massive opportunity. And the next wave of innovation won’t just digitize youth sports. It will transform them.
