While at Google, Charlie became interested in Bitcoin meeting Mike Hearn & getting his first Bitcoin. He launched Litecoin in October 2011. He founded the Litecoin Foundation in 2016, a non-profit organization whose mission is to teach the world the benefits Litecoin.

Working closely with the Litewallet team, Charlie and Kerry discuss ways to increase active users while provide the features users want the most. The Litewallet team is global with a modest budget and a wide number of well funded competitors offering many types of crypto.
